I have decided to go ahead with my lingerie and perfume project. I plan to have it both on here and blue sky. I made an account specifically for it.

daily-foundations

The working title is Foundations. I will post a picture of lingerie and perfume I am going to wear each day (hopefully). The point is not to be salacious. One of the reasons I set it up as its own account was so that it would not be overly provocative or intrusive to people who follow me.

Most basically, the idea is about vibe-setting and intentionality each day. My outer clothes are pretty similar each day and also fairly utilitarian. Underneath I can be more expressive.

I really love lingerie as an art form. The easiest way to engage with it is always buying more, and I am very tempted to perpetually purchase. I really want to take the time to engage thoughtfully with my current collection. I want to think about what the pieces mean to me, and how they make me feel especially without the performance of wearing them for someone else.

I expect adding the choice of perfume to keep things interesting. I hope the pairing will bring depth and nuance to the hopes and feelings I'm expressing.

Finally, the project will give me a chance to improve my photography a bit.
